Welcome to my personal website! My name is Megan, and I'm a licensed cosmetologist that has been practicing since 2017. I'm a Huntsville & Madison local that loves art, travel, food, and most importantly, people!I consider myself a stylist that specializes in the art of consultation - basically, I work based off of a thorough analysis of my client's goals, needs, and budget. I deeply cherish the bond of integrity and sincerity between my clients and myself, and I'm always eager to deliver a quality of work that is hard to find elsewhere. I attend classes at least 5 times a year on average, so I'm always learning something new about hair and beauty trends. As a person that identifies as queer, I take great pride in being able to serve members of the LGBTQ+ community with my career. From gender affirmation to basic confidence boosting, people of all ages, races, orientations and walks of life are welcome in my chair. I believe that hair and beauty in general is, and always will be, political- This makes it an important tool of expression. While me and my clients don't discuss politics in the salon, I do identify as a leftist and feminist, and am always looking to be part of the change the world needs to see!Currently, I experience life as a person with a dynamic disability, so a lot of my hobbies are ones that can be done at home! In my free time, I love playing with my cat [Pumpkin], cooking, walking, watching youtube, and collecting things such as cute keychains, plushies, stickers, cute Pokémon cards, and k-pop albums. On an irregular basis, I self-learn Korean and make makeup videos on my personal instagram. I love experiencing new things and enjoying the small pleasures in life, such as keeping up with seasonal trends, taking an occasional long weekend off, and decluttering.

Services I Offer:

  • Customized Haircuts

Clients are able to receive haircuts that are tailored to their head/face shape, styling needs, and functional needs- Curly hair included! All new client haircut services include a thorough consultation, shampoo, and basic blow dry. Dry cuts are offered based on the cut you want and your hair texture. Most haircuts entail a wet cut to set the foundation of the shape, and then a dry cut to edit the way the hair moves or lays based on growth patterns and weight distribution. My favorite types of haircuts to do include but aren't limited to: pixie cuts, bobs, shags, razor haircuts, and any type of alternative and fashion editorial styles such as disconnected haircuts.

  • Customized Hair Color Services

From blondes to vivid shades, I offer a variety of services to achieve my client's hair color dreams. I pride myself in my knowledge of Keune and Pulp Riot hair color products, and attend classes from these brands frequently to stay updated on new product releases, technology, and trends. My client's hair health and integrity is my main priority during chemical services, so all custom color services include a thorough consultation, treatment, and basic blow dry. I love taking photographs of my client's hair pre and post servicing, so come prepared! :] (Obviously, showing your face is optional!)My specialty is lived in, blended, long-wearing, naturally occurring hair colors and pops of vivid colors such as peek-a-boos or money piece styles.

  • Facial Waxing

Waxing is a method of hair removal that is relatively easy to keep up with and allows the hair to grow back without that prickly feeling! Waxing also damages the follicle over time, which means the longer you wax, the less hair regrowth you may experience. I personally love waxing, especially brow shaping!
